  • Congratulations to Maria Buggey, Kiwanis Senior of the month
  • Attention Skiers: The first ski trip date has been scheduled for Sunday, December 14th. Please note the date change! Students interested in skiing on December 14th must turn in a permission slip and sign up in Mrs. Adams by Tomorrow.
  • Varsity Jacket will be distributed on Tuesday immediately after school in the office. Please bring checks to Mr. Rodkey ASAP.
  • Students on the waiting list for a yearbook, students who didn’t get their yearbook last week and students picking up yearbook for last year’s senior may do so during Activity Period & periods 3,4,5,&7 today.
  • Senior High TAAD will meet in the yearbook room during Activity period.  
  • There will not be Saturday Detention on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008. The next Saturday Detention will be Dec. 6, 2008.
  • Our Love Basket total was 3384 items, a new record. Mrs. Seigh’s 1st period donated 545 items winning a McDonalds breakfast.
  • For anyone who is interested in giving the gift of life by donating blood, The Homer City Church of the Nazarene, on US Route 119, is sponsoring a Bloodmobile on Monday, Nov. 24th, from 12 noon until 6:00pm.
  • Attention Students-If you are interested in information for the Governor’s School please stop at the Guidance Office.
  • Attention Mrs. Zimmer’s Quarter 1 Textiles Students: A reminder that your cross stitch is due on Tuesday, December 2, 2008. This is the first day of our return from Thanksgiving vacation. All cross stitches are due that day, you must get it to Mrs. Zimmer no later that December 2.
  • Attention all students & staff: We are trying to gather a list of names that would identify graduates of Homer-Center HS or relatives of any current HC students who are currently serving in the US Military on Active Duty. We would like to send Christmas letters& Holiday wishes to these people. Please get the person’s name, rank & address information to your Social Studies teacher by Monday, Nov. 24th, so that we can prepare our list. It takes time to get these letters to the recipients, so please get these names/addresses in quickly.
  • Attention Seniors:
  • Friday, Dec. 5th will be the last day to sign up for college in the classroom.
