  • Congratulations to Maria Buggey, Kiwanis Senior of the month
  • Attention 9th Grade Students: Please remember to turn in your permission slip to attend the ICTC shadow day to the guidance office.
  • Attention Skiers: The first ski trip date has been scheduled for Sunday, December 14th. Please note the date change! If you have not received your ski club information packet, please see Mrs. Adams. Anyone interested in skiing on Sunday, December 14th must see Mrs. Adams in room 201 by November 26th. Prices will be determined based on the number of students attending.
  • Attention all 9th grade students who sold pies: pies should be picked up after school today in the cafeteria. Please make arrangements for transportation.
  • Varsity Jacket money is due to Mr. Rodkey by Wednesday, November 26th. Make checks payable to the HC Varsity Club.
  • Percussion ensemble has rehearsal Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 3-4.
  • The following pictures will be taken on Thursday morning during homeroom period in the gym: Class officers, cross country team, and the cast of the senior class play. Students will be called to the gym for pictures.
  • Today is Day 3 of our annual Love Basket Collection. This year we are asking each student to bring in at least four non-perishable items in order to bring in at least four non-perishable items in order to reach our goal of 1,750 items. If we reach this goal we will have a movie the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, renovation permitting, in the auditorium. The first period class that donates the most items will win a McDonald’s breakfast. In addition this year, the first period class that donates the most items per student will also win a breakfast.
  • Attention all students & staff: We are trying to gather a list of names that would identify graduates of Homer-Center HS or relatives of any current HC students who are currently serving in the US Military on Active Duty. We would like to send Christmas letters& Holiday wishes to these people. Please get the person’s name, rank & address information to your Social Studies teacher by Monday, Nov. 24th, so that we can prepare our list. It takes time to get these letters to the recipients, so please get these names/addresses in quickly.
