Summer is flying by! I hope that you and your children are relaxing and enjoying the freedom that summer brings.

Opening day of the 2010-2011 school year for students is August 24, 2010. Teachers will report on August 20th for an In-service day.

Please stay safe during the remainder of the summer vacation.

Important Reminders

During the course of the school year many times photos are taken of students during a group activity, etc. IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR CHILD’S PICTURE DISPLAYED EITHER IN THE NEWSPAPER OR OTHER TYPE MEDIA, PLEASE LET THE ELEMENTARY OFFICE KNOW IN WRITING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Visitor Tags - Parents and visitors are always welcome at Homer-Center Elementary School. Your help and involvment in your child's education is always appreciated. However, for the safety of everyone in our building we ask that ALL visitors ALWAYS sign in at the office and wear a visitor tag while at school. This is simply a way for our staff to quickly see and assess that all visitors have checked in at the office.
