National Walk to School Day is part of a comprehensive walk to school program that promotes physical activity and the importance it plays in good health. "Walk-to-School Days" will be held each Wednesday rain, snow, sleet or sunshine! Keep walking!
The Elementary PTA would like to thank Kate Yancy for organizing the event. We would also like to thank all of the parents and volunteers. It wouldn't be possible without your cooperation. A big thank you also goes out to the Homer City Borough Police Department for making sure our children are safe! Volunteers are needed each week. If you are interested, please show up at Floodway Park on any Wednesday that may suit your schedule. Mileage Club: Students, who walk to school, are able to earn "TOE TOKENS" each time they walk.
