Task 1
Your task today is to "surf the net." I have selected the sites for you to visit. They are listed below. Today you will choose a "pet" from one of these sites, print out the information, and begin to think of how you could persuade your parents to allow you to have this pet. We will begin the written work when we are back in the classroom. Have fun!

Welcome to the creepy, crawly world of spiders! Charlotte is a spider, and even though she doesn't seem so creepy and crawly in the story, her relatives are quite another story!
On this quest you will print and label a picture of a spider and write a three-paragraph report of information you have found at these sites:

In this activity we will be exploring different types of barns. Your task is to choose 2 barns from the photos below and use your barns to complete the compare/contrast chart below.
When you chart is completed, you will choose one of the barns and write a descriptive paragraph about it.
