Far, Far, Away! |
One of the first things you always want to know if you are going on a trip is how far is it. How many times have you asked your parents, "Are we there yet?" In this activity you will find the distance from Homer City to each state capital and the time it will take to drive there.
Open the spread sheet that from Activity 1. You should have saved it in your home directory or on a floppy disk. The second sheet in the workbook is named "distance." This is the sheet that you will use to record your information. Copy and paste the cells from the weather sheet that contain the states and capital cities. Label column C "Distance." Be sure to save your work regularly.

Use the information in your spreadsheet to create and print a graph of the distances.
