The purpose of the fund will be to provide opportunities and/or experiences for the Homer-Center School District students and staff, that would not be normally available through general fund provisions. This would include, but not be limited to, such activities as special assemblies, programs and/or travel.
The fund will be segregated into a separate District account. Any and all expenditures from the Fund must be allowable by the State of Pennsylvania, as well as, permissible under the policies and fuidelines of the Homer-Center school District.
Any educator, administrator, coach or community member may present a proposal.
Tax-free donations to the Homer-Center School district for the Fund will be gratefully accepted.
During the school year of 2010 - 2011, proposals with district-wide student-oriented impact will receive the most serious consideration. For the 2010-2011 school year, $3,200 will be available from this Fund
